You have been Called

to embark on A Wild Thing Ritual Scavenger HUNT!

Where the Wild Things Are was a real deal magic portal of mine as a child. I would literally get transported through the page into my very own jungly dream world! In my  20's I met a real life Max, who'd also done extensive explorations through this portal, and he reminded me of a very potent magic trick that was offered in the book. 

Do you remember what it is?

Max is beckoning you now to revisit his world. Should you choose to accept his Wild Magic invitation, You will embark on a scavenger hunt for a copy of the book, find a quiet spot, perhaps in your very own bedroom, then dive in with all your inner Wild Things

and retrieve the magic trick!

Once you have returned home, give someone you love a good long hug, or pet, or just behold them in your heart with great reverence. Then treat yourself to whatever you always imagined was still hot, waiting for Max. For me it was a bowl of tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich :) 

 

Finally ask for guidance from beyond. Spirit gave me the name Hayokey as code for calling in play magic guidance, but you can use whatever name ya like. My invocation usually goes something like this "Oh great Hayokeys, please whisper, giggle, guide me in..." in this case the invitation is to create a ritual for fully integrating Max's magic trick into your shadowplay toolkit.  Perhaps it's a way you'll practice using the trick, and then a commitment to doing so every day for a week.
